Landon Jackson Skaggs, 5 months, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015, at Community North Hospital. He was born May 19, 2015, and spent his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the hospital, surrounded by family and friends.

Landon is survived by his parents, Samantha Deane and Sean Skaggs, Indianapolis, and his older brother, Channing Rylan Skaggs. Other survivors include his maternal grandmother, Lora Ringlespaugh Deane, Indianapolis; his maternal great-grandmother, Carole Ringlespaugh, Fishers; five aunts, Lauren Burnside (Chris), Hannah Deane, and Courtney Preste (Nick Wiegand), all of Indianapolis; Megan Jacoby, Noblesville, and Skye Deane, Florida; maternal uncle, Spencer Jacoby, Noblesville; his paternal grandmother, Marissa Fiedler, Fishers; paternal aunt, Shaylen Smith, Fishers; paternal uncle, Matt Skaggs, (Jacklyn Kinyon Smith) Richmond; and a large extended loving and supportive village of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Ind., 46250. Calling hours will be 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow the service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.

Memorials may be directed Community Hospital NICU.

    I am so sorry for your loss. Although there are not enough words to comfort you right now please know of the hope God gives us through his word in Acts 24:15/Psalms 37:29/Revelation 21:4. He promises an earthly resurrection with perfect health where pain and death will no longer exist.
